2005-06 Service Events

Halloween at the Ronald McDonald House - October 31st from 2pm - 4pm. Hand out treats and help with fun activities for the kids. Donated over 800 books!

Club Extravaganza - September 26th from 9am - Noon. Location: LSC Mall Area. Inform students about PTK's mission and goals, membership requirements, and activities.

eBay Auction for the American Cancer Society - members can donate items to be donated on eBay with funds going to the American Cancer Society. Contact an officer for information!

Project Registration / Stuff the Bus - Delivered 6,000+ school supplies to the Southside ISD.

Relay For Life - May 6th - 7th (6pm - 7am) @ Olmos Basin Park (wear your PTK shirts if you're participating!)

"The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold: 1) recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and 2) provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
